Manager Trainee: As a Manager Trainee, you will learn about the garage door business from "the ground up". You will be trained through Amarr's People Development Process (PDP) and will learn the technical and people skills that you will need in order to advance into other management position. Once we are comfortable that you are ready for a promotion (determined by performance reviews), you will be relocated to another Door Center to become part of their management team. Requirements: We need hands-on people who want to take initiative to start a career with our company. We want people with 2-3 years experience in management, distribution and/or production environments. You must be willing to relocate after the 6-9 month training program, accept responsibilities, and possess good communication and people skills. Service Managers assist in running the day-to-day operations of the Door Center. They work closely with our customers, lead the warehouse staff (2-8 people) and assist in maintaining the door center inventory. They also follow operational procedures and ensure safety standards are being met. This hands-on position reports directly to the Door Center General Manager. As a Service Manager, you will benefit from a competitive salary, and an incentive program. This position is in charge of managing all aspects of the Door Center. The main responsibilities for the position are sales, customer service and overall operations. This position requires travel within the local area to obtain new customers, service existing customers and to monitor competition. General Managers are also in charge of the financial/budgetary decisions of the Door Center. This position reports directly to the District Service Manager.
